Accessibility & Inclusivity
Dr. Tooshar’z Multispeciality Dental Clinic’s website was built with one commitment: every patient — regardless of age, ability, language, or background — deserves a digital presence that works for them.
Our Commitment
This website was built from scratch with deliberate, documented decisions at every step to ensure it works for patients with colour blindness, low vision, motor impairment, dyslexia, vestibular disorders, and older patients who may not be digital natives.
Every colour combination was mathematically tested. Every interactive element has a touch target of at least 48×48 pixels. Every image has descriptive text for screen readers. Every form field has a visible label. Every page has a skip-to-content link for keyboard users.
This is not a checkbox exercise. These decisions exist because 1 in 8 men has colour blindness, 1 in 10 people has dyslexia, and a significant portion of dental patients are over 50 — groups routinely underserved by web design.
“I never recommend treatment a patient doesn’t genuinely need. That’s not a policy — it’s just who I am.”
— Dr. Tushar Suneja, BDS · MDS · MOI (USA)

What We Provide
These are the concrete things we do — on the website and at the clinic — to ensure every patient can access our care.
Every image, button, form field and interactive element has descriptive text that screen readers can announce. Navigation landmarks let screen reader users jump directly to the content they need.
Every button, link, and form field on this site can be reached and activated using only a keyboard. No mouse or touchscreen is required to book an appointment, read content, or contact us.
Patients with vestibular disorders, migraines, or epilepsy can disable animations in their OS settings — this site respects that automatically. High contrast mode is also fully supported.
The clinic at 222, Block C, Lajpat Nagar I is accessible to patients with mobility limitations. If you need specific arrangements, please WhatsApp us in advance and we will prepare accordingly.
Dental anxiety is real and common. Dr. Tushar’s practice is built on patient comfort and unhurried appointments. Patients with sensory sensitivities or dental phobia are actively welcomed.
Dr. Tushar and the clinic team communicate in Hindi and English. All treatment information is written in plain, jargon-free language. Clinical terms are always explained.
Families with young children are a core patient group. The Children’s Dentistry page uses warmer copy and a free first visit CTA.
A significant proportion of implant and restorative patients are over 50. Motor impairment, reduced contrast sensitivity, and digital confidence are all considered.
Patients from the UK, UAE, USA, Canada, Australia and Singapore are explicitly served — with cost comparisons, remote planning support and exchange rate context.
Screen reader users, keyboard-only navigators, patients with motor impairment, vestibular disorders, or dyslexia were all considered during development.
Legal Framework
HIPAA (USA) does not apply to an Indian clinic. The relevant frameworks for Dr. Tooshar’z Multispeciality Dental Clinic are listed below, along with the international standards this website is built to.
India’s primary disability rights legislation. While it does not currently mandate website accessibility for private clinics, its principles of non-discrimination and equal access are embedded in how this clinic operates both online and in person.
Governs how patient data collected via the contact form and WhatsApp is stored and used. We collect only name and phone number for appointment purposes. We do not share, sell, or retain data beyond what is needed for care.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C. Level AA is the global benchmark for accessible websites. This site was built to meet or exceed Level AA on all four principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust.
Patients contacting us from the UK have rights under UK GDPR including the right to access their data, the right to correction, and the right to erasure. Contact us at toosharz.dentalclinic@gmail.com to exercise any of these rights.
Everything below is a verifiable record of specific decisions made during development. Not intentions. Not aspirations. Decisions that exist in the code and can be audited.
By the Numbers
Figures accurate as of v5 of the homepage — the version live at delhi-dentist.com as of April 2026.
Colour Vision Deficiency
Approximately 8% of men and 0.5% of women have some form of colour vision deficiency. For a dental clinic in Delhi, that is potentially hundreds of patients a month. Every interactive element on this site communicates meaning without relying on colour alone.
Greens and reds appear as shades of brown and olive. Our green CTA buttons could appear dark brown to these patients. Fix: every CTA button is distinguished by shape, weight, and position — not colour alone. Hover states use border animation, not colour change.
Fixed in Code
Similar to deuteranopia. Forest green appears very dark. Contrast ratios are maintained because our palette relies on luminance (light/dark) differences, not just hue differences. The 12.4:1 ratio on white-on-forest is unaffected.
Passes WCAG AA
The site renders as a high-contrast greyscale palette. Forest green becomes dark grey, cream becomes near-white. All content remains fully legible. Contrast ratios of up to 16.3:1 hold in greyscale simulation.
Full Greyscale Safe
Star ratings (★★★★★) can appear identical in certain colour-blind simulations. Every rating on this site also displays “5/5” in visible text alongside the stars. The score is readable without relying on star colour.
Text Fallback Added
Mathematical Verification
WCAG 2.1 AA requires 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text. Every combination used on this site was computed, not guessed. The minimum across the entire site is 5.55:1 — 23% above the requirement.

Specific Decisions in Code
Every item below is a verifiable decision that exists in the codebase. Not aspirations. Not intentions. Decisions that can be audited in the source.
26 FAQ items across 6 pages with full JSON-LD schema markup. Each question is individually marked up with schema.org/Question and schema.org/Answer. Google can display these as rich results in search.
Full Dentist schema with exact GPS coordinates (28.5786, 77.2367), opening hours, aggregate rating, service catalogue with 8+ treatments, and founder credentials including AACD membership.
The hero image has fetchpriority="high" and loading="eager". All other images use loading="lazy". Explicit width and height attributes on all images prevent Cumulative Layout Shift.
Every form field has a visible <label> element, not just placeholder text. Placeholder text disappears on focus — labels never do. Required fields are marked with both visual indicators and aria attributes.
Every interactive element is reachable by Tab key. Focus indicators are 3px gold rings. Skip-to-content is the first element on every page. Mobile menu aria-expanded state managed correctly on open and close.
Full privacy policy with specific sections for UK (GDPR), Canada (PIPEDA), and Australia (Privacy Act). Right to access, right to correction, right to deletion, and right to withdraw consent — all documented.
#clinic-pageAll CSS is scoped to the #clinic-page and #dtz-* wrappers. Not a single rule affects other WordPress pages, theme templates, or plugins. Zero side effects on the host CMS.
Every WhatsApp link across all pages sends a contextually pre-filled message. A patient clicking “Book Free First Visit” on Children’s Dentistry arrives in WhatsApp with the message already written — not a blank window.
A JavaScript function runs on every page load, checks the time against IST (Asia/Kolkata timezone), and displays “Open Now” or “Closed — opens Monday at 10am” in real time. Mathematically correct for all days and edge cases.
Patients who print the contact page get phone numbers printed with the full tel: href visible. Navigation, floating buttons, and dark backgrounds are suppressed. The printout is clean and useful.
prefers-reduced-motion Fully RespectedWhen a patient sets “Reduce Motion” in their OS, all CSS animations, transitions, scroll reveals, and the WhatsApp pulse ring are disabled automatically — without any extra action from the patient.
The forced-colors: active media query ensures that when a patient uses Windows High Contrast Mode, buttons retain visible borders, cards retain outlines, and the site remains fully navigable without colour.
